A video about bastard cabbage aka wild turnup. It's tasty!

I just learned about Bastard cabbage, also called wild turnip.

It is in the broccoli, brussel sprout and cabbage family.

It was tastie cooked up with some bacon.

That's a common weed in this area, it even pops up in my garden, where I've let it grow thinking the pollinators would love it. I hadn't realized I could be eating it myself. I'll look for it this year. Thank you.

ya I was really happy to learn about this plant. We have to be very careful not to misidentify wild plants.
