Has anyone grown persimmons from cuttings? When is the best time and what is the best method?

Are they hard to graft? I have two Nikita's Gift trees. I'd like to graft American persimmons on a few branches for variety. Will the Nikita's Gift have seeds if they're pollinated?

Thanks!

I don't know if thre is any connection between root suckers and graftability, but I've noticed that American persimmons on my property seem to propagate readily through root suckers.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
