Has anyone grown persimmons from cuttings? When is the best time and what is the best method?

Are they hard to graft? I have two Nikita's Gift trees. I'd like to graft American persimmons on a few branches for variety. Will the Nikita's Gift have seeds if they're pollinated?

I don't know if thre is any connection between root suckers and graftability, but I've noticed that American persimmons on my property seem to propagate readily through root suckers.
 
What I don't understand is how they changed the earth's orbit to fit the metric calendar. Tiny ad:
