not recieving all email notifications for forums that I'm watching

I've clicked  'watch forum' for the 'greenhouses' and 'rocket mass heaters' forums and I'm not getting notifications for all of the new things that appear in those forums.  

I also am 'watching' a couple particular threads in each of those forums and I am receiving email notifications for those when someone posts in them.

It might be that I am receiving notifications of only brand new threads in each of those forums and not new posts from existing threads unless I have clicked 'watch' for that particular thread?

Now when I reread this it sounds pretty unclear.....I'll try to pay more attention and see if I can be more specific  

we currently have two features:

1.  watch a thread:  get an email when there is a new post

2.  watch a forum:  get an email when there is a new thread


I'm not sure, but I think you are asking for a new features: get an email for a new thread AND set up a watch for all threads in that forum.

I'm not asking for a new feature.  I just wasn't clear about what was happening.

I see now that I'm getting exactly what was intended although I thought at first that if I was watching a forum I would get notifications of every new post rather than just every new topic.

Got it now
