Hello,

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR
A field hand / assistant manager position on an organic farm run by good souls

ABOUT ME
I spent most of the last 10 years traveling: Peace corps in west african islands, a year volunteering in haiti/dr, three years on permie farms in India thailand Nepal, built wind turbines with GE to fund this. Visited over 40 back-to-the-lander sites worldwide.

I wrote a book (www.permaville.com), made an online course about permaculture (www.udemy.com/permaville-course) and recently created a 12-month plan for a 30-acre organic farm (http://www.permaville.com/consulting/farm-consultation/). 34 year old male.

i have project management skills and degree, good communication skills; I am a good listener, follow directions well, and I am a hard worker who doesn’t mind long productive hours working in soil, as well computer skills with websites and writing.

MORE ABOUT WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR
Seeking responses from folks who want to have an organic farm. I am willing to be compensated at a base salary that would also include housing.

I would like to work with people who are willing to share the common goals of what sustainable farming is all about; who learn from each other; and who can maintain respect of individuals, no matter the pecking order of workers.

SE USA preferable, willing to travel

Hi bri
We're not a USDA certified organic farm but our customers don't seem to mind. Our focus is more on a sustainable permaculture mission and among a lot of stuff do grow organic vegetables for farmer's markets. We've been looking for farming partners for quite sometime. Seems very few people are interested in living in Florida let alone working on a farm. Anyhow if interested check our our web site www.ecofarmfl.org
Hope you the best!

Hi,
I am with a nonprofit organization in East Tx.  We have several acres of land we are in the process of developing
for Permaculture use to improve sustainable living skills for young people in transition.  It seems you may be a good match for us.
Email me at: peecetoday@gmail.com if this sounds interesting to you.

Hey there. We have a developing "farm" in SW VA. We mostly focus on farming in the forest but also have about an acre of tillable land and a 2,000 sq ft high tunnel. We manage a small CSA and grow gourmet mushrooms and woodland medicinals. You sound like you could be a good fit for our small team. Let's discuss further.

Would anybody like some fudge? I made it an hour ago. And it goes well with a tiny ad ...
