I learned today that we are not supposed to call them "canadian geese" but instead "canada geese".  So now I have to spend a large slice of the day saying "canadian geese" in order to annoy those that seem to have a life mission of being annoying.  People that the ability to know what I'm talking about AND have far more legit things to worry about will be unaffected.

Out my window yesterday and today, I see hundreds of canadian geese landing in my "back yard" (more like a wheat field) and hanging out.

What's going on?  I thought canadian geese went south in the fall and came back in the spring.  It's january!

And how come they're "Hawaiian geese" and not Hawaii geese?

I'm Canadian and not fussy on what you want to call them. They seem to winter where it will support them, here in southwestern British Columbia they live year round.
