Hello brothers and sisters I am wondering if you could help me. I've been reading about self sufficiency in books but I want to get some practice in real life. I am willing to learn and put in the hard yards and work with a community. Through self sufficiency this is where I learned about permaculture and gaias garden. I live in the city right now but have a green thumb for gardening. I really want to learn about alternative energy sources especially. Can anyone recommend a good place to start like courses or projects? I'm living in South America right now so looking for opportunities. I speak a great deal of Spanish too. I heard Costa Rica has great projects too but it costs an arm and a leg to fly there unless it's really worth the trip. I'm not sure. If you can give me some advice that would be perfect.

Much love

Charlotte
