Our fiber arts category is growing in popularity.  It's time to add some new forums to it.  I would love to hear your thoughts.

1.  What sort of forums would you like to see in it?
2.  Do we like 'fiber arts' as a name, would 'natural fibers' be better?

The names need to be one or two words long, have high google love, and are a little bit fun.

I see the goal of this category as two fold. To invite textile lovers to come and participate on our site.  Also to welcome people new to textiles and show how easy and fun it can be to source our own textiles.

What are your thoughts?

Fiber Arts is good. Got no issue there.

[also for some reason insanely happy to pay 20c at thrift store for two dabs of obviously hand spun mohair/wool yarn from somewhere a few states away. Just looking at it makes me happy.... sigh]

'Fiber arts' seems well understood as it is...someday we might be ready for 'fiber shed' Isn't 'natural fibers' already a sub forum? I'm not sure why but I think of unspun when I think of 'natural fibers' where as 'fiber arts' covers so much more...spun, unspun, techniques, etc.....

Something for 'tools of the trade' would be interesting and maybe useful...I think you, R, especially, have begun many that would fit there and deb has a spinning wheel thread begun as do I....maybe a 'tool' sub forum is there already and I've missed it? I'm not always the most observant...

Deb, I love finding yarns in thrift stores...how fun!
