Hello!
Looking for trustworthy and hardworking individual or couple to help on an offgrid permaculture farm focused on simple living and self reliance.
The work includes watering and food preservation. Also tending plants and animals (small scale/flocks of ducks, goats, sheep, chickens)
Schedule is Monday - Friday 9am-12pm and a half hour in the late afternoon/evenings for food preservation (solar dehydrating, canning, ferments, etc)
Small cabin and air stream, hot showers, and mostly vegetarian food provided on a secluded riverside property with a temperate coastal climate. Spring
water, mature orchard, library, sauna, and limited cell reception- figs and peaches are ripening now!
Hoping to find summer garden intern with sincere interest in permaculture and self reliance. Fall help with local specialty crops is paid.
Possible longterm worktrade for winter caretaker.
I don't have Internet or use computer. Cell service is marginal.
The best way to contact is to text me with your name and number so we can arrange a time to talk on the phone.
If I don't get the chance to answer- keep calling me.
Permaculture or worktrade reffrences appreciated.

Hi Kat!

A friend and I graduated from university this year and we've been biking around the Oregon coast wwoofing at different farms.  We love permaculture and are doing a PDC next year to stretch our minds' horizon.  Your offer seems awesome since Humboldt is our next stop after Oregon.  Would be cool to to see what you have in the ground and be a part of your project, let's set up a time to talk?

My name is Henry I am 32, graduated college in civil then electronics engineering. I am 6’4” 200lbs and not afraid to lift 200lbs on my shoulders. I have tremendous perseverance and attention to detail when doing things I love, perma-farming being one, as it keeps me close to God. I am religious and live almost a Monastic life, outside a monastery. Pretty boring one may think, but God is my fuel and I can be out there working that field alone, I don’t care, I do it alone, just God and I! I love helping and this is great for me, and great for you because I truly know what I can offer to another human, and it’s a lot, much more than you expect, possibly mind blowing! I will make anyone’s life easier for sure, and not because I would try, but just because it’s who I am, I enjoy transforming with my hands, making things from bad to good again, to make someone worthless valuable, I rather dress up an old puppy pretty again then to breed another one.
