Weird Mobile(?) View All of a Sudden?!?!

Here I was, merrily clicking around permies, when all of a sudden everything looks different! Am I somehow trapped in the mobile view? How do I get out?! Where's all the shortcuts to edit posts, like the HTML codes for BOLD and adding videos, etc?

You can click in 'your profile' under "Site Personalization" and choose "Never use the mobile view"

I've never found the mobile view, so I don't know how to escape it.  sorry.

Um, I found "mobile view" at the bottom of the page and clicked it.  Now everything looks weird (but loads faster).  

I hope the "desktop view" button at the bottom of the page will take me back to normal.

desktop view at the bottom of the page worked.  Much better now.  

I went to my settings and clicked the "Never use the mobile view" and that saved me. Hallelujah!

I never saw the "desktop view" but hopefully will never end back up on mobile and so won't have to worry about it!

I've had "Never Use The Mobile View" checked for a long time (years?). I still find myself in mobile view half of the time when I first bring up this site. I just click "Desktop view" at bottom and keep going. I figured it must have to do with my weak internet signal.

Maybe that's why mine turned to mobile, too. My satellite internet has been getting worse and worse, while costing more and being on the same plan
