Did you read this?:

And see this?:

What do you think? Will you do anything about it?
Sometimes I'm happy I'm not living in the US. Patenting words is insane.

I really like John Kohler, he's a fantastic raw food vegan. Great videos.

We're already talking about this here

theres some serious vitriol in the comments of the dervaes' youtube channel.
dunno what they were thinking(besides $$$) if i had to guess, which i dont, i'd imagine soem lawyer convinced them they had to do all this to protect their website and 'brand' though they obviously didnt invent the lifestyle nor the  phrases.

Lawyers aren't the only ones who get greedy.

If you read their stuff, some of the vitriol is definitely getting to them. Sounds like their original motivation was to protect themselves from the internet plague of plagiarism.

Definitely the wrong way to go though.

Also, if they ever bring a case to court, the court might not uphold their patent. Had a similar case in Oregon a while back, where Tillamook Cheese went after someone using the word Tillamook as a brand name, I think it was someone producing sausage. The big cheese lost.
