I wish i'd known of this TV show when it was airing on TLC. shucks ,the ones on now are all lame,i dont bother.

last night i watched several clips from the show, and some very lengthy speaking presentations with Eliot , man he is Great !

Anyone know where one might find full episodes and/or his old videos  online?
i'm going to check my library and request they get them in, but  not holding much hope there.

i found him through my research last night into Soil Blockers / Soil Block Makers . ended up ordering the 3/4" and 2" hand makers, how ingenious.
i've used peat pots and plastic cells in the past, neither  are attractive.
this year i was going to go with woodturning my own pot-make for the newspaper pots. but these soil blocks just look way better!

Here's a link to their site with some videos:  http://www.fourseasonfarm.com/resources/videos.html

I've always been a big fan of Eliot Coleman.    His books "Four Season Harvest" and "The New Organic Grower" are very helpful.

Very cool, thank you Ludi! I need options if we're going to stay here in Canada. Can't live on snow for 4 or 5 months!

crafty, you might also want to look at "Solviva" by Anna Edey, which is a wonderfully inspiring book about greenhouse food-growing and living in northern climates. http://www.solviva.com/solviva_book.htm

Okey doke, will do! At this rate I'm going to need an apartment just to store all the books and equiptment I want for this project. So much for simplifying my life!
