i know there is damage, not sure how much yet but i'm sure i'll need help with clean up at my place in cape coral. I am in ne tennessee right now and hopefully in a few days the traffic will subside with all evacuees returning and i'll attempt to get back to cape coral and deal with whatever the storm left me. all the trees in my yard there were planted from either seed or clippings planted in about 1990. so the root systems are strong but the trees were very large and i know there has to be damage.  the large trees in my yard were a huge refuge for birds, bees ect in a place where everything else is cleared to the ground and tree branches trimmed off by landscapers as soon as they start to grow. sw florida got pounded by irma. right now I just hope i have a house to go back to. neighbors promised photos as soon as possible but infrastructure is surely damaged as far as cell towers and power.

It's been a few weeks now. Hopefully your house was ok. I'm going to FL to help finish a solar energy system, cleanup, permaculture, and stay warm lol. It would be nice to make contacts.
