Hey folks!
Over at Homestead.org, we've been hearing a lot of scary stories lately about people losing their health insurance. Also about the problems associated with accidents on our homesteads, many of which are so far from the
city and professional health care in general.
Our thinking is that if you're in, or have ever been in, one of these situations, maybe we can do this one small thing to help.
We'd like to offer you this link to an article by Barbara B. Scott which reviews a medical manual written in simple English for citizens of developing countries that have no access to modern health care. I think you'll find that your homestead probably has more things in common with a village in Peru than it does with downtown Manhattan.
Anyway, after you've finished the article, there's a link where you can download the entire 503-page book for
free. Being in a .pdf format, it's searchable in your computer, so in that way it's even better than the print version. Hope it helps you or someone you know.
