We are looking for nice friendly singles or family to help us turn a closed lumberyard into a Permaculture type of community. We have a solar powered water well, wood and propane for heat and cooking. We are connected to the electric company at this time. We are 15 miles from the closest town. There is only a part time post office open in this small community. We have all the tools for a woodshop, welding shop and a repair shop. We have a big garden space. No chemicals or sprays have been on the property for nine years. There is a 9 foot solid wood fence around the 3 acre property which eliminates the deer and rabbits from our garden and also keeps our three little dogs in. We have access to six more acres to build a pond and apply Permaculture practices on it. There is a small two bedroom house that needs worked on and lived in. We have three RVs for sleeping and plenty of space for parking your RV. We have 10,,000 to 12,000 books that need sorted and put on shelves to make a library. We have lots and lots of good stuff for resale and small engines that need fixed and sold, also many small electric handicapped carts to fix and sell. The revenue from selling stuff would help pay for living expenses until we get our ideas together and make a plan for getting self sufficient. At the start of your stay we would buy the food and you could help us around the place. We want to raise chickens, quail and get a milk cow in the future. There is landline telephone, WiFi, Apple TV many vcr tapes and all the books you care to read.
Everything we own is paid for including the property. We will share what we have only with others that have their head on straight  No tobacco, drugs, or excessive drinking allowed. Your past is your business, share what you wish to. Respond on the forum and we will contact you. Midwest Nebraska

You might consider posting an ad on ic.org....it's the premier website for intentional communities, searchable by location and keyword.  Lots of good resource there about how to do (and how not to do!) community!

Hi I am interested. My email is rosegardner373@Gmail.com

We can fix it! We just need some baling wire, some WD-40, a bit of duct tape and this tiny ad:
Special fundraiser JUST for the permaculture bootcamp!
