for a small pristine Permaculture Farm in Secluded Valley in Uruguay
(3 miles from County HQ )
BASIC Wood work, some Metal experience (Drill-press, simple el. welding)
After acclimation could start one of a couple of sideline businesses
the owner always wanted to start here in UY and never found the time to do so ...;
AND you can rent for ONE Dollar a month
up to 1 Hectare (2.4 acres ) for your own use or for sale of Food (veggies, fruit or animals)

I am interested .. Where is the land?

Is there an eventual purchase option that can be put on the table?

... the land is on Rta. 12 South of Minas, Lavalleja
Purchase option could be worked out --- although by 'Law' all agri-lots sold must be a minimum of 12.4 acres / 5 Has. ---
for the 'right' person such too could be worked out ....

So would it be FIVE dollars a month for five Hectares?

Also I am from the U.S. .. and I have a passport.. I just want to know what else I might need in terms of documentation to rent land or own land and live there in Uruguay..

The Owner just spent 43 years in the US ... although he is German ---
GO the the Embassy Site for Uruguay and inform yourself about the Document Requirements to get residency here in UY ...
To RENT of BUY land: ANYONE can do so in UY
To live here you need Residency Permission >>> Embassy Info ...
I am sure the owner will assist you to get through the bureaucratic maze ... he said so ...
