Hello permies! I would like to hear from anyone who has a cat or cats, and hear about how they effect your permie lifestyle, if the cat is considered your pet, a feral, or your soulmate. Please feel free to comment about how they help or hinder your permaculture or homestead, and please take this quick 3 question survey. Thank you! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9ZG8ZRW
Depends upon which cat. I have a Bombay who is critical to keeping mice out of the house and food supplies. She appears to do zero damage to the bird population. But, much as I may like them, not all cats are so useful.
