That's actually really cool! The stitcher in me wants to take a sewing machine to the edges but it's great just as is and anyone could make them up. Good for shopping, very frugal and love the upcycling element as well.

I looked for a video how-to, and here is a demo of a different version. It involves duct tape but is strong, and can be used for carrying groceries. Also a good kids' project.
