I'm going - as a volunteer, I will be working two shifts on Thursday and Friday. Would love to meet you and any other permie. I'm isolated out here!

My wife and I are also going as volunteers.  We are working registration on Friday morning, then plan to attend the fair Saturday and Sunday.

This looks like it is going to be an AWESOME event.  My only complaint is their is not enough time to attend ALL 176 events.
My wife and I are splitting up for most of them so we can cover more areas.

What a great event.  It was like they designed the fair just for me.  Everything they had I was interested in.  I learned to graft trees, raise bees in a top bar hive, make soap, and a lot more about culinary and medicinal herbs.  Plus some great keynote speakers.  My only "complaint" would be there was nine times as many presentations than you could physically attend.

If anyone is considering going to a Mother Earth News Fair, I would strongly encourage it.  If you are willing to volunteer for a couple of hours you can get in for free on both days, while helping out at the fair.

More like a conference than a fair there was almost nothing I was allowed to touch. Did take home enough loot and have enough fun to call it good, but I'll just do a one day ticket next time

For your bravery above and beyond the call of duty, I hereby award you this tiny ad:
