Born October 1987. 6'0" (183cm) tall. Slender build. Never married. No kids. I have a cat! His name is Cloud and he's been a super chill companion for the past 8 years :)

I long to share time and space with other creative people and to build synergistic relationships where we co-create abundance, beauty, and health as mindful stewards of the land.

I'm starting a homestead on 42 acres near Morganton, NC. It was all just wooded land when I bought it a year ago, so I've been starting from scratch. Employing permaculture/natural building concepts as much as possible. Currently working on the infrastructure to entice others to want to visit or stay for a while: Clearing and preparing garden space, building trails to the creek and through the woods, developing a natural spring for clean drinking water, designing a rain catchment outdoor shower/sauna/bath house, designing and building natural shelter using timber frame and earthen structure techniques.

Currently working to pay off the land. I work remotely as a software engineer out of my travel trailer with the little cell signal I can get at the top of the property! I hope to quit the corporate life after I can get this place paid off. M-F 9-5 just doesn't feed my soul... I am very grateful for the homestead projects that break the monotony in the evenings and on the weekends.

I am a builder. I build things with my hands.

Things I value most in a companion are kindness, creativity, intelligence, and trust.

Most of my political views are libertarian. Live and let live.

My sense of humor is sarcastic and dry. Who likes dad jokes???

Looking forward to meet you!

It's been quite a while since I first posted on this thread. A lot has changed (progressed) since then and I'm finally getting around to editing the original post to reflect that!

Hey there! Things are still going well here. I've been spending most of my time working on ramping up food production. Clearing trees to make space for a decent sized annual garden as well as planting lots of fruit and nut trees.

Just got a bandsaw mill and my new tractor should be delivered soon! Lots of work on structures will begin soon!

Still working 40 hours a week for my remote job, so things aren't progressing as fast as I wish it could, but I'm not complaining too much. I couldn't have asked for a better office space than the middle of the woods lol
