If you have any native blackcap rasperries growing wild near you, now is the time to start picking them.  I have some in my yard and there are a lot of ripe ones right now.

Thank you for the reminder!  We have some wild ones that I've been meaning to check on...

The variety that I planted this spring, Jewel, fell victim to verticillium wilt, so it's wild ones only for us.
