The 4th annual Bear Fair will be held on Saturday, August 6th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hungry Bear Steak House in Swan Valley.

The event will feature presentations by Tim Manley, Grizzly Bear Management Specialist, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 1 and Amy Macleod, Wildlife Biologist Research Associate, U.S. Geological Service Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center as well as a bear pepper spray demonstration. Additional specialists in grizzly bear research, wildlife information, and habitat conservation and management will also be available to answer questions.

Free bratwurst will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m. RSVPs are requested at 754-3137 or info@swanecosystemcenter.org to reserve your brat. Games and activities for children of all ages. Bake sale and raffle proceeds will support Swan Valley Bear Resources. Free shuttle service will be provided from Swan Valley School to the Hungry Bear Steak House.
