I know there has been lots of info on Scythes here, but I am being lazy and wanted to know: Where is the best place to buy one?  Anything wrong with a metal snath? I noticed they are much cheaper. I need to order one this week so any info would be most appreciated.

I bought the ones I have (13 believe it or not!) from http://www.scytheconnection.com/ They were very helpful.

Still using them too. Still trying to turn the Costa Ricans on to them, but hey, I am terrible with a machete so I guess it is even...

www.thescytheshop.co.uk is supposed to be good if you're in the UK.

I have a metal and wooden snath, the only complain t I have about the metal one is that it is not heavy enough on the back to help balance the blade so i use it on my bruch blade which i end up hacking a bit with in tight quarters the shorte metal handle is handy as my wood handle is rather long
