How are you doing with Homesteading on the Prairie
I live in New Mexico, and my biggest issue is the wind and drought…
I do my best to protect the soil and maintain as much moisture in the soil as possible, but it is a consistent battle
Oh, let’s talk bugs I have more tiny little critters eating my garden then I’ve had in New England

I live on the Plains and though the area is flat it’s also very dry. Dealing with water issues is a pain in the patootie to keep the Soiled hydrated, Let alone you’ll never be able to just walk and enjoy your garden without fear of facing a rattlesnake

Shade is A true luxury she always have to be careful of scorching your plants and some plants tend to bolt quicker

But I do have to say the growing season is longer
