This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in woodland care.

For this BB, you will build a berm shed that is at least 8'x8'x8' and has a 5-foot long eave!

For more information on berm sheds, check out the permies.com thread berm sheds.

Some work being done on a berm shed at Wheaton Labs:

The requirements for this BB are to do the following:
o build a berm shed that is at least 8'x8'x8' and has a 5-foot long eave

To get certified for this BB, provide proof of the following as either pictures of a video (<2 mins):
o materials for building the structure
o progress of building the berm shed including posts, waterproof membrane and joinery details
o completed berm shed that is at least 8'x8'x8' and has a 5-foot long eave

Every time you till, you lose 30% of your organic matter. But this tiny ad is durable:
A rocket mass heater heats your home with one tenth the wood of a conventional wood stove
