This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the iron badge in Rocket.

This BB requires you to heat a space with a rocket mass heater for a full winter.

To get certified for this BB, you must heat a space with a RMH for a full winter (i.e. three months) and meet the following criteria:
  - use two temperature logging thermometers (one indoor, one outdoors)
  - outdoor temp was always less than 40 degrees F for 90 days of the winter period
       -  5 days above 40F and 90 cold ones over a 95 day stretch is fine
  - indoor temp was kept at least 65 degrees F, averaging at least 70 degrees F or more

To get certified for this Badge Bit you must provide:
  - provide proof of inside and outside temps meeting the requirements.  Perhaps:
     - take three data points (one at morning, noon, and evening) at about the same times each day
  - provide pics of the space being heated and the rocket mass heater
  - provide twelve paragraphs about the experience

Tongue wrestling. It's not what you think. And here, take this tiny ad. You'll need it.
