The purpose of the butterfly day is to have a two week long event with two days off in the middle for instructors, staff and the cook.  But rather than have nothing on those two days, we will instead have a rich list of things that attendees can do to have a complete change of pace for these two days.

People can take those days to flutter around montana, or, maybe, just one day.  Or they can spend some of that time working on BBs (that don't need supervision).

Some people will pursue a mini vacation and go to:

  - glacier national park
  - missoula (the massive saturday market, the carousel, lots of fine dining)
  - the garden of a thousand buddhas
  - lewis and clark caverns
  - floating the clark fork river
  - bigfork (a little art town)
  - area hot springs
  - beautiful hikes

I wonder if boots, or someone in the area might try to set up something where an attendee forks over some coin and they get to go on a two day
(or maybe just a one day) adventure.

If you plan on staying at wheaton labs and watching the clouds pass, you are welcome to do so.  Of course, there will be no food or people to guide you on stuff.  Formally.  There might happen to be somebody you can do stuff with or visit with that might know some stuff.

Who knows of a fantastic, must see destination around the Missoula area?

Quinns Hot Springs is a little North of Missoula.
It looks like a nice place to rest and soak up the love of the mountains.

Here's another place you can go for a Butterfly Day.

Lolo Hot Springs!

Pretty close to Missoula.
They have huge pools of their mineral rich water to soak in.

They even have horse trail rides up in the mountains!

Looks like a great spot for a mini vacation.
