This is a badge bit (
BB) that is part of the
PEM curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the
wood badge in
Round Wood Woodworking.
This BB originated as a duplicate of
PEP: Bunk two beds so you might be able to apply for that BB as well.
For this BB, you will build two bunk beds!
Minimum requirements:
- Make 2 bunk beds
- Twin size or larger
- Safety rails for upper bed
- Ladder
- Peeled logs
- Metal fasteners are fine
To get certified for this BB provide photos or
video (less than 2 minutes) showing the following:
- Your chunks of wood that you are starting with
- Progress about halfway through, with the hand tools you have decided to use for this
- List any power tools you used (Otis would love it if you only used hand tools)
- The final product
