This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the Straw badge in Traditional Skills.

Are you reminiscing about the movie Ghost but you don't have a pottery wheel?  Let's try to make one!  The biggest challenge with this BB will be only using materials they had at least 200 years ago.

Here's one way to do it (unfortunately using some modern materials):

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a rotating wheel to throw pots upon
  - If a flywheel style, ensure enough weight so it will turn for a while as you shape your pot
  - This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The parts you're starting with
  - Midway through building the wheel
  - Finished pottery wheel
