On the Mobile site, if I go to My Posts and click the last post I made, it takes me to the first post in that thread. Can we do something about that? I know on the desktop version on my laptop the last post I made will actually take me to that last post. Why does mobile fail at this?

Have you tried using the desktop format, on your browser? It's my go-to, and bypasses most of the mobile issues.

When you have pie, you can go to My Profile and check

Keep track of threads read on a thread by thread basis
Show, in a thread, how far you have viewed in the past
Navigate to the last post you have viewed

It looks like you don't have it checked

i just tested this, and it looks like mobile view does lack the "go to" link that desktop view has in My Posts. When I'm in desktop view I have a link that say "Go to" and that gives me a url like this:

https://permies.com/forums/posts/preList/158099/1244413#1244413

Those numbers after the # are the post ID number. And so it takes me directly to my post--spiffy!

When I'm on mobile view, I just get a link like this:

https://permies.com/wiki/158099/prep-SKIP-book-kickstarter

Note that there is no little  # with numbers after it to take me directly to that post.

I can see how this would be painful, especially with an awesome--and long thread--like Jen's 17 page bootcamp thread. It probably doesn't help that the page numbers are at the bottom of the page on mobile view. Sp you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to click the page number, and the scroll to where your last post was.

The thing is, mobile view could be a LOT better. There's no doubt about that. In fact, we really want to go to a responsive design like this one:

a mock-up of a responsive design, made for our sister site, Code Ranch

With something like that, we only need to do programming for one view, rather than two separate views. It would make things so much more lovely for those on mobile view. It'd be lovely for people like me who try to help by making tutorials, and I have to make two separate tutorials because the views are so different. It would be lovely in so many ways!

The problem is, that takes a lot of development time and money. And permies runs in the red--it doesn't make a profit. So, trying to figure out how to fund it is hard. We're hoping more people will buy pie and the awesome stuff in our Digital Market to help fund things like this. But, we understand not everyone is financially able to do that. And so we make due with the best we can!

For those interested, here's a screenshot of the difference between Mobile View and Desktop View's "My Posts."

I almost forgot exclusively use the mobile view on my phone to access permies. There are a few little quality of life features like this that could benefit from tweaking.

Various buttons that you want to access regularly that only appear at the bottom of pages, so require massive scrolling.
