Hi, I'm Jennifer, I'm 40 years old. new to this forum and new to permaculture. me and my husband want to have a small place where we can pretty much take care of ourselves.
I have experience growing food and (re)using what is available. We think we can achieve something, but we also understand that we have a lot to learn. and this forum seems like a good source, thanks.

Welcome to Permies!

There is a lot of information that can be gleaned here, and some great conversations too.

May I ask if you currently garden? Spring is coming to a lot of places and I'm for one part of the group that has the itch to get some soil under my nails. What do you like to grow?

I hope to see you in some future threads.

Welcome to the forum.

You are right that this forum is a great place to learn.

Similar to you, we bought a small place that pretty much takes care of itself.

It is on top of a mountain with great views and beautiful wildflowers.  We have been here for over 10 years.

thanks for the welcome!
I love gardening, I usually grow tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, I love them for their versatility in cooking,
I also grow herbs: basil, cilantro and mint. I grow flowers and take care of fruit trees. yes, spring is my favorite season

Hi, Jennifer! You've come to the right place, seemingly at the right time, since it is time to get seeds and starts into the ground. I'm glad you're here.
