Is there a way to create a new regional forum for Indiana or northern and central Indiana?

I'm interested in starting a regional forum for Indiana, specifically the central till plains and northern moraines.

It would be nice to be able to discuss the particular benefits and challenges of working in these conditions and to possibly have get-togethers, resource exchanges, shared projects, and knowledge shares.

Is this possible? And who would be interested in participating?

I would be willing to assist you Jim in this endeavor, but it is going to take some work.

To create a forum, one of the biggest things is that it needs threads.

Avoiding a bunch of technical gobbily gook, I need a list of threads that would be primarily hosted in this new forum that have to do with the subject.

If we can compile a list of at least fifty threads that have to do with Indiana, I can see about the behind the curtain work.

If you have time to create a list of thread urls, I'll work on it

I just need to double check approval because I have yet to make a new forum, but this seems like a good opportunity.

Timothy,

I'll work on compiling a list while you're working on possible approval. Thanks!

Is it okay if I create some new threads along with the others I find, some of which I've already created? I can take my time with this, no need to rush it.

So, if we do not have enough content that would be my alternative course recommendation. If people create the content they want to see, it sometimes inspires others.

I'm in central Indiana.  If this gets off the ground, I'm in!

I remember before the flying monkeys became such an invasive species. We had tiny ads then.
