Hi all, any homesteads, farms, or sanctuaries, etc. in Northwestern Washington, or beyond, have any rental/exchange opportunities for an aspiring homesteader and a chill, super friendly cat? I'm looking to live in (ideally, a stand alone) tiny house/cabin/barn) on beautiful land, participate in homesteading, land care, and building projects, and generally build some community. I'm particularly interested in growing food, animal care, land stewardship, and learning some natural building skills, to ultimately build my own tiny house and homestead. If you know of anywhere around here, or further out, if need be, that I could plug in, I'd be grateful for any leads. I'm also open to connecting with folks looking for drop-in help with natural building and gardening projects. Cheers all!

Thank you, Neena - I wish you the best in finding help on your growing homestead. I'm looking for ready made shelter at this point, as I don't have a home on wheels yet.

Hi Samantha, thanks for the welcome and the invitation! It looks like you all have a high old time there at Wheaton Labs . If it looks like I need to look further afield, I'll reach out with questions! Cheers, Susanna

Hi! We are just north of Bellingham WA and would love any drop in time you would like to spend. We do not have any stand alone structures yet but they are in the plan :)
Best wishes on finding a spot

What kind of structures are you looking to build?

Susanna,
We live on an ancient homestead and are seeking a "homestead helper." This could include the use of a recently rebuilt 130 year-old log cabin. We grow much of our own food, have chickens and dogs. We are in a stunning valley in the heart of the Cascade Mountains. Most of our neighbors have either two wings or four legs. Would love to talk to you about this opportunity. Thanks, Dave and Nancy
