My balance problem has mostly gone away maybe due to taking magnesium supplements.

I have read that meditation, yoga and tai chi might help manage my dehydration problems.

Also herbal tea of marshmallow  or slippery elm.

Yoga is not my cup of tea though tai chi seems perfect ...

Never having heard of tai chi, I found these videos helpful:

In case anyone else is interested I found this thread:

I do and highly recommend it to anyone of any age, along with Qi Gong.

Both are great for improving and maintaining balance, flexability, coordination and inner peace.

I've especially noticed the benefits when working in the garden. Being able to balance on one foot while stepping between plants is especially useful when weeding or anytime I'm working low to the ground, like picking strawberries and green beans.

I've taken Tai Chi classes instructed by David Chandler and enjoy them immensely. If there are no instructers in your area, he offers Zoom classes on Saturday mornings. Here's a link for anyone interested:   Eagle's Quest Tai Chi Center

One of my favorite instructors for Qi Gong is Shi Heng Yi. I find him to be a true inspiration.

This is an excellent 20 minute routine for beginners:

My other favorite Qi Gong instructor is Nick Loffree. This is a very gentle routine that helps me unwind before going to bed:

See ya later boys, I think I'm in love. Oh wait, she's just a tiny ad:
