Hey guys apologies if I haven’t gotten back to you recently or it takes me a while to reply. Currently on month 7 of no home internet. Perks of rural living huh? Anyways...
Some friends of mine are getting mini pigs this summer. They plan to breed them. I can get a pig or two each summer beginning next spring. However I’m not familiar with the needs of mini pigs and it’s hard to find
feed ratios for them
online. I’m hoping that some of my
permie homies can help me out.
My plan is to paddock it in a largish area to avoid damaging the
land. I will of course have a huge surplus of eggs to feed them. I also
should have a nice sun choke and potatoe crop by then. I guess what I’m wondering is how much of their diet maximum can be from each single source and still have healthy pigs? The current feed I’m looking at is eggs, sunchokes, potatoes, and anything else I can grow instead of buy. Any advice helps!
