Hi everyone, my name is Dallas. I own a decent sized farm in the interior of BC with my wife, daughter, and parents. I’ve been experimenting  with various fruit and nut trees seeing what will survive. I’ve had luck with black walnut, American chestnut, hybrid chestnut, cherries, apples and plums. I also raise pastured poultry and I’m getting set up for grass fed beef.

I decided to join after backing Paul’s latest Kickstarter, which I decided to back because of his podcast. I first found permaculture and Paul Weaton on The Survival Podcast.

I look forward to learning more from this community.

Howdy Dallas, welcome to permies ! I am looking forward to hearing more about your farm. Tell me about the nut trees, did you plant them from seed, buy them from a nursery? What hardiness zone are you there?
