i have enough horseradish and everything but lemons to make another batch of fire cider, and no plans to go to the shops.  can i make it with pickled lemons?  they are lemon slices fermented in salt.

Honestly, I don't see why not. It might even be fun to play with it, making a batch with the pickled lemons as they are, and another batch, with rinsed ones, to see if you like it better with or without the saltier flavour.

Would anybody like some fudge? I made it an hour ago. And it goes well with a tiny ad ...
