Hi all,

My husband and I are heading out to southernish CA area in our camper van once we're able to travel again.  Our plan was to head out there in the beginning of May, but it looks like our timeline may have to shift to accommodate whatever situations are arising. But anyway, we’re coming from the MD area, and we’re looking to be a part of a deeper community.  We have spent the last few months traveling/camping and are now back in MD for as long as we need to be until we can head out again.  Traveling has been wonderful but we’re looking for a bit more community and roots.  We’re used to boondocking in the woods but it seems that most places to do that are preeeetty far away from the permaculture farms, organic farms, earthskills and general community that we want to engage with.  We'd love to continue to boondock, but we're also thinking this may be an opportunity to help out and learn more, so we're kinda poking around to see if there's anyone who would be open to the idea of us parking our "house" somewhere on the property in exchange for helping out.  Never asked anything like this before so I'm not quite sure the best way to do it.
But if anyone here might be open to this, let me know and I'd love to talk more.  I know travel is a bit uncertain right now but I like getting things organized, and we'd like to be able to head out that way as soon as we can!

I'm just outside a place called Arroyo Grande. Five miles from Pismo Beach.
HMU. I could really use some help starting my dreams.

If you still need a spot I have an urban farm developing in Menlo Park, in the peninsula bay area. Let me know if anything aligns. rio.forager@gmail.com
