I have these leftover parts from a IBC tote and I wonder if there is anyway that they can be used to create a pollinator nest.  Use the cage with poultry fencing inside and the plastic part as a top to keep the rain from washing it away.
Would a mix of dirt, rocks and twigs be inviting to any beneficial insects?   Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, Dennis

I like your idea though I don't know about pollinators except maybe mason bees?

What I would like to suggest is using that cage for firewood, if you use firewood.  Then critters could find their own houses.  Or you could make it a giant mason bee house.

I love finding new uses for thing rather than sending them to the landfill.
