Several years ago I came across an organic high nitrogen liquid fertilizer whose main ingredient was fermented sugar beets.  Is it possible for the average person to grow and ferment sugar beets for the purpose of making fertilizer?

Seems like a good idea. I'm not sure it would be a traditional NPK fertilizer but rather a soil life amendment. I use molasses in compost tea for sugar, this seems like a reasonable replacement.
