I saw this in my garden (5'X5' space that receives mostly shade). Its a volunteer squash (I believe) being guided for something to cling onto by a spider. I looked today and it is a little closer to the fencing...the spider seems to tighten the web everyday to compensate for the growth so that the plant does not touch the ground. I am sure this is not that uncommon but it struck me as special I thought I would share.

While I'm not a huge fan of spiders, that is awesome.

spiders are amazing, my problem is hornets they love to catch spiders and entomb them into mud for their larvae...wahhhhhhhhhh....give me spiders over hornets anyday
