I braved scorn and shock at my house and looked up pig nipples.
Indeed they are symmetrical. Maybe a pig belly is wider than a canine and piglet placement is easy???

Are they? I'll have to check when I get home. I found this pic on my phone and you can see they start out symetrical at the rear anyway, but can't see well enough towards the front. What I want to know is who thought it was a good idea to put four nipples within about an inch of a wiener!😜
