I bought some Boggs last year and the rubber cracked within 4 months. My work season is starting to pick up and I really need some new footwear. Any one have any waterproof ankle boots that have stood up to an active job for any amount of time?

What kind of activity and terrain. The Amish near me love these foam boots, they are like crocs material but a full boot, for milking and butchery and pretty much anything on wet concrete. They don't hold up to brambles and rocks, though. They don't last much longer but are way cheaper.

For rugged conditions, Servis brand from the farm store last forever for $20 but are not comfortable on hard surfaces, they rely on the mud for cushioning.

Those foam boots sound interesting. Its mostly wet concrete and occasionally flat muddy/gravel out door areas. Just lots of squatting and active movement. What is the brand on the foam boots?

Unfortunately, I have not seen them for sale anywhere but Amish stores actually run by the Amish. Here is a link to the real crocs. They look like a rubber boot until you pick it up and realize it weighs nothing.
