I'm not speaking from
experience but I would say that there is a very high chance that it is not the type of glass that would go to a very high temperature before it cracked or shattered.
I have however tried both layers of an
oven door glass in my batch box, and after one fire was shattered all over the floor.
Good success with pyrex casserole lids (but don't recommend them)
Really good success with salvaged ceramic glass range tops as well.
I guess if you really wanted to know for sure, light an outdoor fire and prop it up close to the flames and wait.
Oh yeah, be sure your standing back about 30 feet behind a riot shield just in case.
Also make sure there's nothing around you that you don't want impaled with glass either...kids, pets, your Lamborghini etc....
