I've got a Nigerian Dwarf doe and am looking to get a special friend for her and another doe I'm going to buy. A friend has a Boer mutt buck that he says is pretty small. We're pretty new to goats so I need some advice. Is it safe to breed a Nigerian dwarf with a Boer if he's small? Also, do we need 2 bucks to keep each other company? Thanks!

An ND doe is not big enough to breed safely, with a Boer. The reverse would be fine, but the Boer is likely to be too big for her, and could very well end up killing both dam and kid.
