Having reached my mid  70s I  realize that it's time (past time?) to downsize. That and all my children's solemn promises of many dumpsters after I'm gone! I have a number of household type items  that I  would like to see repurposed , again. Not things of great value , just useful homestead items we no longer use and might  be helpful to folks just starting out on the homestead path. I am in central N.C.  For winters and central Maine for summers. I was wondering how to connect to people who might want/ need these items. Any thoughts or ideas are welcomed. There seems to be a distinct shortage of like minded people in my NC area, or I havent found them yet.

I have a large dough kneading bucket with handle and hook, an Apple peeler, sqeezo  strainer , selection of cast iron pans etc. The thing is I'm coming up with things over a period of time  and don't have a list as such, just an ongoing need to rehome things. If you are interested in any of these feel free to purple mileage me and we might work it out

Rick, I posted this info here since I had not seen this thread:

Rick, we have a Flea Market Forum where you can post things that are free or for sale.

https://permies.com/f/386/flea-market

If you have homesteading items you can also post a thread in the Gear Forum:

https://permies.com/f/91/gear

If you have seeds or plants, here is the Resources forum:

https://permies.com/f/19/resources

If you would like to put items in more than one forum, you can click the "report button" to ask that the thread be put in another forum.
