Would a 'working' holiday in Thailand be appealing to anyone?

I'm not sure how many have seen me & the wife's ignorance on show in our thread (https://permies.com/t/119072/Undone-Udon-journey-unknown-unknowing), but we are considering sharing our misadventures with people who are either up for adding to the chaos, or who have a bit of knowledge & experience and would like the opportunity to steer us in the right direction.

We won't be offering any PDC certificates (contact Rak Thamachat for that shenanigans), although you can certainly have a go at some SKIP qualifications if you want, but we just wanted to share what we have with a few like-minded people, or people who actually know what they're doing.

We have two local plots - the 'garden' which is just over half an acre and is where we are currently focusing our efforts, and the other plot is 8 acres where we are developing a hardwood forest and will also be building a small house when we get round to it.

The 'holidayers' will have a comfotable house of their own next to ours, but I expect meals, beer & jacuzzi time to be mainly spent with us. We would also do a bit of touristy stuff if requested (no, we're not near a beach) and the occasional trip into town, etc. Also, collection from & tearful send offs at the airport would be provided.

Depending upon where a prospective visitor is coming from, it can be quite expensive traveling to Thailand, so we don't feel its fair to charge people who come here to help us on our land, (but sharing in the beer expenses is doing the decent thing).

As I'm a miserable Limey/Pom, I'd rather entertain more mature, less excitable types (again, Rak Thamachat cater very well to young whippersnappers), who are also 'left-leaning' and have hearts.

Am I being realistic or are people not inclined to do this kinda thing? It's also a bit premature, but hopefully Covid will be squashed within a year or two.

I'd really appreciate your thoughts.

What's a Limey/Pom?

Sounds like a good holiday for a lot of people!
