Northern BC connections call out !

Hello !
Reaching out to see if there are some permies in my area. I am in Telkwa BC, near Smithers.
I just purchased a small log cabin built in 1974 on 2.5 acres. Would love to learn more about this garden zone as all my past 20 years gardening has been in zone 5 and 6 in the Kootenays.
Smithers is said to be zone 3 to 4 but my neighbor who has a massive regenerative farm says she is zone 5 and then down the road another neighbor that lives off their garden and animals says she is barely zone 3 !!
Anyone in my area ?

Try posting in the Cascadia forum too. You might get some more responses. I know there are several BC permies though I don't know how close they are to you.

Hello! I am about 2 hours east ish of Smithers. Been here since covid and I am not a master gardener here- yet. I would like to learn also.
