What to Bring - Boots (footwear specifics)

Q: What type of boots are recommended?
Will there be lots of muck and mud? (might be seasonal) If so would muck boots or waterproof boots be suggested?

Is there a need for steal toed /hard toed boots for safety? How often? (daily, sometimes? etc.)

What surfaces are typical? / Is there a need for good traction on the bottom of the boot?

The good news it that my mom remembered she had steel toed boots! So I’m bringing those to have just in case.

I might try to find some other work boots too so that I’m not getting in a workout with the weight of these if I don’t need it!


Brands or stores you like or recommend would be helpful.

Anything with a steel toe would be super deluxe.  

It is rare to get into the mud.  I think comfortable hiking boots are probably the most common.  Although some people choose something much lighter.

Winter is when it get interesting - but we now have a bunch of "overboots" that seem to help people be quite comfortable.
