Size limits of burning fuel for rocket stove mass heaters

I noticed that some burn punky wood and twigs and such as a fuel source. So my question is how small of pieces can one burn? I'm a woodworker and quite often my scrap barrel will be filled with small pieces of wood. While I can burn some pretty small pieces in a conventional wood burner, I was wondering if there is a limit of how small of pieces you can burn. I often will have pieces the size of quarters and dimes that I pick up to keep from jamming up my dust collection system and would like to burn them.

wood chips, pellets... you could probably set up a crude press to pelletize you saw dust and burn that too.

Greg, no prob, i can burn all that in my workshop one. I chuck even a handfull of chips or sawdust every now and then.

I gonna implement a RMH in my future workshop. In the concrete floor (slab) with the feed tube flush with the ground, so i can brush everything in there. I will try to have the whole floor act as a mass, with insulation underneath and on the perimeter. It will be at least a 10 incher, may be more; with a huge barrel, made out of a home heating oil tank. Or may be a hot water tank from an old boiler. I would have to calculate how much BTU's i need.
