So, maybe the guy was a good guy. Maybe he was a bad guy. I wasn't there. But I do think there is some good information when you study just the good stuff.

If you ever get to Fort Myers Florida you should visit his estate. The old labs are still there and he liked to collect and plant all sorts of plants so the grounds are pretty cool. The banyan trees are awesome.

I too, have read the opinion that Edison was an ass.

The man was a genius, and a workaholic. He often spent days on end in the lab, or shop.
He would let no man stand in his way on his path to achievement.

Did he step on people while on his quest? Most likely.
There are "white hats", and "black hats". But there are a million shades of grey in between.

Many more people have benefited from his works than have been hurt by it.
